One of the reasons I love beauty subscription boxes is discovering new brands and products for the first time and falling head over heels in love with them. I fell hard when I got this Cleanser from Eve Lom in my October Birchbox and for the last couple of weeks, this multi-award winning cleanser balm has been an absolute diamond and it has fast become a favourite of mine. I have been using it twice daily and even though I was sent a small… 30ml travel sized pot in my Birchbox, I’m actually surprised at how long this small tub has lasted. So. In two months I’ve used a 30ml tub so I’m guessing a 250ml tub will last around 6+ plus months so you would defo get your moneys worth.
How To Use.
Rub a bit of the balm into your face, rinse the muslin cloth under hot water and place over the face to help open pores, wipe away all traces of make-up, dirt and oil and exfoliate and then rinse the cloth again under cold water and wipe over the face. It is a gorgeous smelling balm, quite minty and herbal and it melts as soon as it touches the skin, gliding effortlessly across the face. You can use a muslin cloth to cleanse and exfoliate the skin but I also use some cotton wool pads when I’m in a rush.
I loved the fact that I seen results after the first use, no kidding! Plus my skin and complexion improved after each use and it has been looking very radiant lately. It has been almost two months and I have seen a huge difference to my skin tone, it looks more even in colour. I did have a bit of hyperpigmentation on my cheeks but the uneven patches are nowhere near as noticeable as beforehand and my skin looks and feels hydrated. This godsend of a cleanser is amazing at moistuising and nourishing the skin and my demon wrinkles and fine lines have also smoothed out so much, my frown line is not as deep-set as it was so hooray! (I hate getting older!)
This is the first product I have ever used from Eve Lom and I’m hooked on the brand already, I’m just gutted that the cleanser is a bit on the expensive side as are the other products. I have never paid more than £20 for a cleanser (my Glycolic Cleanser from InstaNatural). so it is a little out of my budget at £55 for a 50ml tub, £85 for a 200ml tub and £250 for a 450ml tub! Jesus! Mary! Joseph! I’ll have to rob a bank.
Would I buy again?
I don’t usually spend that much on a cleanser but hell yeah, I’ll be buying it again! I’d be a fool not to. You can get some here if you’d like to try it out yourselves. I’m pretty certain you guys will LOVE it! This is definitely a cleanser I’d recommend for all skin types and skin concerns and I would use this all year round for sure – rain, snow, wind, sun, it really is a multi purpose cleanser.
Has any of you used any other products from Eve Lom before? What’s your fave one?
Love Ya,
Kate x
Disclosure: I got this in one of my Birchboxes.
What did you think of the scent? I got a sample in a beauty box too but unfortunately I couldn’t quite get past the scent! Great post though!! 🙂

At first I didn’t really like it hun, I’m not usually of fan of minty, herbal scents but I guess it kind of grew on me. I think the benefits of the cleanser outweighs the scent. Did you carry on using it? Thanks for your comment lovely! 🙂 xxx
