Hey girls,
Today I’ll be reviewing a luxurious hand cream ‘Somerset Meadow’ from Crabtree & Evelyn’s ultra nourishing hand therapy collection. I have the 25g tube which costs around £6. There are 50g and 100g tubes available too.
The cream comes in a squeeze tube and the colour of it is lovely; it is a gorgeous shade of vibrant green which is very pretty and eye-catching. On the back of the tube is the ingredients list which goes on forever.
The scent of the cream is sweet smelling, ‘perfumey’ and floral and I actually love how it smells. It is quite a strong smelling cream although I don’t think it is an overpowering scent even though it does contain artificial parfum, which is an ingredient I usually try to avoid due to fragrance sensitivities and skin irritation.
The cream has a thick, non-drip consistency and it spreads easily and richly over the hands but one thing I didn’t rate was how long it took to dry. It was around 15-20 minutes before the cream began absorbing into my skin and there was a slight greasy feeling for a short while afterwards although once thoroughly absorbed my hands did feel soft, smooth and very nourished and my nails looked shiny and felt much stronger, not to mention my hands smelling absolutely amazing.
Would I buy again?
Yes possibly. Although next time I buy one of the hand creams from Crabtree & Evelyn I think I’d like to try another ‘scent’ from the collection instead. Pink Magnolia sounds amazing as does Caribbean Island.
Take a look at the other scents here.
