Dr. PawPaw – Multipurpose Soothing Balm For Lips, Hair, Nails, & Skin | Review | Cruelty Free Vaseline Alternative

Hiya loves…

I’ve been using the Multipurpose Soothing Balm from the natural skincare brand Dr. PawPaw for about two weeks now and it has really helped get rid of my ugly chapped lips. This cold weather makes my lips so sore and flaky, wearing drying matte lipsticks and having the central heating on full blast every day, all day is not doing them any favours either, so I like to make sure my lips are protected in these cold months.

Dr. PawPaw - MultiPurpose Soothing Balm

The Multipurpose Soothing Balm from Dr. PawPaw is exactly what it says – a soothing multi-purpose balm which provides relief for dry, irritated skin, moisturises lips, nails, cuticles and dry cracked skin on the hands, heels, knees and elbows. It can also be used on eyebrows, to tame flyaway hairs and smooth split ends. The balm comes in 10ml bright yellow tube and is colourant, fragrance and flavour free. It’s also cruelty-free and contains no harsh chemicals.

I like this balm. I’ve only used it on my lips so far and I’m yet to try it on my skin, hair, etc… It does provide relief from sore, chapped lips and it does help to moisturise, smooth and soothe irritated skin. It’s also great for softening and melting flaky skin on the lips. It feels lightweight and non-sticky too which is great for me as I hate heavy-feeling, sticky lips.
The balm does help prevent and heal chapped lips and is quite like Vaseline, only this balm is in a tube and the brand is cruelty-free unlike Unilever who manufactures Vaseline. So, if you only use cruelty-free products then this balm is a great alternative to Vaseline. It contains more skin-friendly ingredients than Vaseline as well – the main ingredient is Petroleum followed by Olive Fruit Oil, Papaya Fruit Extract and Aloe Vera.

I would recommend the Multipurpose Soothing Balm as it does work, my lips are soft, and they’ve been flake-free since I began using it and because my lips are always chapped at this time of year it will be coming with me everywhere, it’s cute and small enough to fit in my pocket too.

Disclosure: I bought this with my own money.
